Developed in Intermediate Architectural Design (HIAA 0102) under the instruction of Prof. Craig Barton and Mara Jovanovic, this is an Urban Forestry and Environmental Education Center that helps trees to be planted in the city adjust to Providence conditions while educating the public about the environment. Starting from site analysis to conceptual designs to plans and renderings, I designed a public space that draws in pedestrians from downtown Providence and riverside greenspaces to a community courtyard space that leads into the building program.
