This is a series of models, concepts, and drawings done in Projections (HIAA 0003) under the instruction of Prof. Julian von der Schulenburg. Starting with a photo model with interesting light conditions, I created narrow slits that puncture the facades, crossing walls and ceilings. Then, I arrived at the concept of making a public restroom, a normally neglected and private space, into a communal experience that creates privacy though a maze-like process.
